It was a unique experience. It felt like being a guest at someone's house and eating their homemade, hearty, southern food. It's an all you can eat restaurant and the food is delicious. You will leave uncomfortably full but happy.

A special place. Authentic home-cooked southern cuisine, large portions, make sure you come hungry! You sit at the table with strangers and make friends while eating. Large bowls of mash, fried chicken, beans and coleslaw are passed around at long tables. Reasonable prices. Warm family atmosphere. It's a real experience!!!

Yummy southern family style restaurant. Long wait but plenty of outdoor space to sit. None of the food was best-in-class, but the entire spread was yummy! After tax, brunch was less than $20 a person - easily worth the wait and price.

This is the first time I've been to a restaurant with this dining concept. There's a set menu, a few rules like no phones at the table, and you sit with other parties. I absolutely loved it. The food was superb, the service was stellar, atmosphere and dining companions were awesome!

Butter my butt and call me a Biscuit!!!! This was AMAZING!! I mean holy food!!! Not only did we eat family style with a whole new family - we passed the food to the left like a family sit down southern dinner. Every bit of our breakfast was hands down amazing!!!!

Excellent food, great value, and very friendly staff. I loved the breakfast. The quality was amazing, and we actually did end up making friends with some of the people at our table!

I like the family style seating and the idea of eating with strangers. It makes you connect to people and get to know people from all over. The wait is long. There were just 2 in my party and we waited well over an hour. The staff is nice and friendly/. The food is all you can eat. There are lots of meat choices and side choices. Drink options are water / tea/ fruit tea. I love the variety. The only option for dessert was strawberry shortcake and it was very good.

My new favorite. Great for family and groups. The service is top-notch. Water and yea on the table. Be sure to follow the rules posted at the front! Food is home style and delicious. Group style, passed around the table.

Parking can be a challenge if ya go noon-2:00 peak Still my bench mark- great downhome ambiance, might hafta wait 10-15 m but worth it prompt service- Sit at a table with 8-10 others and ALL U CAN EAT food served family style- all just prepared so warm to hot temps: -salads- cucumber/tomato or pasta and others -entrees-Chicken, pot roast, pork chops, cat fish... -vegs- mashed potatoes, mac&cheese, green beans, peas, corn pudding, okra, others depending on day -rolls, cornbread, biscuits ( all fresh soft and warm) -desserts- banana pudding, peach cobbler, sweet, warm, tender, juicy, all U want -tea, lemonade, water.. flat price/person my only critique is- need some hammocks in court yard for a postprandial nap.... Sadly there once were 3-4, locations around town- but down to just the 6th Ave location (needs historic/cultural designation to protect from closing and ) My flat out hands down fav for gramma downhome cooking....

Fantastic down home southern country food. It's all you can eat family style. $16.95 at lunch on weekdays and $22.95 for dinner. Incredible value. They bring out bowl after bowl of food and will bring more of any item the table finishes until we're all full. I recall having lemonade, sweet tea, cornbread and biscuits (both rich and amazing), mashed potatoes, gravy, potato salad, fried peaches, beans, spinach, fried chicken, fried catfish, stuffed shells, banana pudding (loved it). Good quality unhealthy food that we ate until we had stomach aches. The place is decorated in an old fashioned homey manner to make you feel right at home. They seat you at a large wooden table in a wooden dining room with several other parties. They have maybe 5 tables in the whole restaurant with about 14 chairs at each table. Phone use is not allowed because they want you to make friends with the others at your table. My favorite restaurant that I went to on this trip, and I hope to return.
